Application

Gas barrier/damp-proof membranes for use in concrete ground floors above or below slabs not subject to hydrostatic pressure.

Description

A range of gas barrier membranes for use in ground floors. The barriers also act as a damp-proof membrane, therefore there is no need to install a separate DPM.


Protech Radon 400 is a reinforced radon barrier. Due to its composition, the membrane is robust and flexible and, therefore, easy to install on site. It can be jointed with use of Protech tapes or heat welded.


Protech GM Super is a reinforced gas barrier, that incorporates an integral aluminium foil layer, for protection against ground-borne gases. This has been specifically designed to conform with the latest guidance documents. Due to its composition, the membrane is robust and flexible and, therefore, easy to install on site.


Protech VOC Flex is a six-layer flexible reinforced VOC barrier. It is suitable for use on brownfield sites that require protection from dangerous contaminants such as hydrocarbons. Protech VOC Flex has been developed to ease installation on site due to the flexibility of the membrane.
