Proteus SR - A1 & A2 Aluminium Rainscreen Cladding

Proteus SR is an A1 or A2 fire rated metal rainscreen cladding system available in a wide range of materials and finishes, including Powder Coated Aluminium, Pre-Coated Aluminium, Anodised Aluminium, Stainless Steel, Weathering Steel, and Powder Coated Steel.

This Secret Fix rainscreen system delivers sleek aesthetics and long-lasting performance. The system accommodates material thicknesses from 1.5mm to 5.0mm, giving designers the freedom to lay panels vertically, horizontally, or in combination, while standard 20mm joints provide clean, uninterrupted sightlines across the façade.

The panels attach to carrier rails via hooks at engineered centres. The hooks slot into predesigned ports within the vertical rails rather than using self-drilling fixings, allowing maximum site adjustability and construction tolerance.

Vertical rails connect to support brackets engineered to a project-specific depth, complete with thermal isolator pads. This allows the system to be attached to a wide variety of primary structures, including blockwork, precast concrete, timber frame, SIPS panels, SFS, and insulated steel panels. Secondary horizontal rails can also be added where required, improving installation speed and flexibility.
