A metal powder-based decorative coating used to achieve a real metal finish.
Application
Purometallo has been developed for internal use as a coating for walls, ceilings and furniture in high-end residential and commercial spaces. The product is applied using a trowel, using rollers and other decorative tools, as well as polishing, to achieve different aesthetics.
With suitable prior preparation of the substrate, Purometallo can be applied on:
- New and old mortar and lime-based plasters.
- Plasterboard surfaces.
- Concrete surfaces.
- Wood, chipboard, plywood, MDF and similar products capable of accepting the system.
- PVC backgrounds and fibre cement.
- Metal surfaces.
It is not recommended for use on floors or in the presence of high humidity.
Description
The Purometallo range consists of decorative compounds comprising precious metals and water-based resins. The formulation of the product results in a smooth or textured metal finish.
Three standard patterns are available:
- LAMINA (smooth, trowelled finish).
- RILIEVO (textured finish using Ideal Work decorative roller MT16).
- STRIATO (textured finish using Ideal Work decorative tool - Ideal Broom).
- Many more textures are achievable using alternative decorative tools.
