Coloured siloxane basecoat.
Application
For professional use. Can be applied by brush, roller or spray, and is suitable for both interior and exterior use. Can be used in the following situations:
- As a base filling layer for new, well cured, old and dehumidifying render.
- As a base layer on old paintwork.
- As a base layer which is the same colour as the final layer to give full coverage.
Consult manufacturer's literature for information on substrate preparation and conditions not suitable for the application of this product.
Description
Coloured silicone resin based undercoat paint, used to prepare the base layer on cementitious surfaces before the application of final topcoats and layered finishing materials from the Silancolour range.
Features and benefits:
- Water repellent.
- Evens out surfaces and fills in defects.
- Can be supplied to match choice of finish coat.
- Suitable for use with scratch finishes and bright colours.
- Regulates and improves substrate absorption.
- Can promote the bonding of successive coats of paint.
- Increases the duration of protective finishes.
- Rough finish makes it easier to apply layered finishing materials, resulting in a more even distribution of the finishing material over the surface.
