Application
Designed to be installed on all roof pitches and roof types. For applications in commercial, education, leisure and residential buildings.
Description
A self-supported, hinged rooflight with safer 24v electric operation that is a solution for providing additional daylight and natural ventilation to living spaces. The frames are manufactured from extruded aluminium section to BS 1474, EN 12020-1:2001. Polyamide thermal breaks in lid and base frame to BS EN ISO 16396-2:2017 making the frames fully thermally broken and extremely thermally-efficient.

- Compatible with both flat and pitched roofs, Flatglass rooflights are installed to a builder’s kerb finished by roofing membrane.
- Recommended minimum kerb pitch of 5° to help shed water.
- Off the shelf fully insulated timber kerb available for delivery with the rooflight.
- Delivered with a 24v transformer switch to avoid the need for complicated on site wiring.
- Various sensor options available, such as rain, wind, smoke.
- Various control options available; remote control fob, wi-fi switch, app connection to Alexa, Google, etc.
- Minimal framework: daylight is maximized while the visible framework is minimized.
- More daylight -> less artificial light -> energy savings.
- Free air calculations.
- Also available as a manually-operated rooflight (specified separately).
Designed to standard loadings of 640 N/m² (snow) and 750 N/m² (wind) and in accordance with the following Standards:
