Application

Commercial use, in accordance with Department of the Environment, Transport & the Regions 'Guidance on the use of Tactile Paving Surfaces' April 2000.

Barface: British Standard compliant, skid resistant paving.
Blister: For use at controlled and uncontrolled pedestrian crossing points.
Cycleways: Indicates the beginning of shared cycle and pedestrian routes and denotes the route cyclists should follow.
Directional: Identifies a safe pedestrian route, avoiding obstacles and hazards.
Hazard: Provides an warning against potential hazards such as flights of steps and obstructions.
Lozenge: Indicates that a Light Rapid Transport (LRT) platform edge is approximately one pace away.
Platform edge: Indicates platform edge proximity. Ideal for use on surface or underground rail systems.

Description

The range of Brett tactile flag paving can be combined with the specialist kerb systems to offer integrated roadside approach and safety solutions which are particularly relevant at road crossings and passenger vehicle boarding points.

All of the Tactile paving flags have a square edge with no chamfer and provide excellent durability in service.
