Description

The TENTAL curtain wall offers an extensive range of solutions and creative freedom when designing a facade. It allows modular curtain wall designs with large glazing units to enable maximum transparency with a minimal sightline.

It uses Hydro CIRCAL®, an alloy made with a minimum of 75% recycled end-of-life aluminium, allowing tons of scrap that would otherwise become waste be reintroduced into the system. The thermal break elements are made from recycled xPET, a material that gives a second life to used plastic drinks bottles. Therefore, the TENTAL curtain wall is a suitable solution for current needs in terms of design and sustainability in the building industry.

Provide EcoPlatform third party published EPD conforming to ISO 14025 and EN 15804+A2 to confirm the above.

Glass units	Insulated glass units (IGUs). Guidance for specification option: Glazing to be hermetically sealed insulated glazed units, in accordance with Building Regulations. Composition of units to be confirmed (to BS EN 356:2000 P1A where required for PAS 24 compliance). Where self-cleaning coating is applied to the external pane, use non-silicone lubricated gasket. Specialist contractor to supply confirmation from glass supplier of gasket compatibility. All glass and glazing shall conform to: BS EN 12600:2002. BS EN 1279-1:2004, 1279-2:2002, 1279-3:2002, 1279-4:2002, 1279-5:2005+A2:2010, 1279-6:2002. Manifestation design and location to be confirmed by the contract administrator. Recommendations of the Glass and Glazing Federation should be adhered to. Thermal safety check TBC. Heat soak testing TBC. Correct glass thickness subject to calculation by specialist contractor. Full height barrier glazing must comply with BS 6180:2011, Code of practice and meet relevant UDL, point and line loads.
Panels and facings	-
