Description
Westbury timber wood sash windows slide open with ease and smooth movement, offering exceptional security, thermal and acoustic performance. The spring balanced sash window is a contemporary alternative to the classic box sash window, using a spring-loaded mechanism instead of the pulleys, cords and weights found in a traditional box sash window. They are often used in new builds where a flush reveal has been detailed by the architect. Legacy sliding sash windows have thinner frames, sash and glass sections and are suitable for replacing draughty single glazed windows. They give a modern performance without losing the traditional heritage sash window aesthetics.
