In business since 2002, Lime Green is the UK's foremost manufacturer of hydraulic lime mortars, plasters, renders and insulation.

Our products are used across the UK and Ireland on a huge variety of projects; we've supplied projects from the Palace of Westminster to small cottages and extensions, from Victorian railway viaducts to art galleries and modern schools. Whatever the size of structure, we care about making products that are simple and demystified - lime is commercially viable for quick, durable jobs that have a spectacular look. Our friendly and knowledgable technical and sales teams are on hand to help with advice for architects, applicators and homeowners.

We manufacture our products in Shropshire, using state-of-the-art machinery for both production and quality control. All of our mortars and insulations undergo stringent quality testing and assessment by our production and lab team. We're proud to support high quality jobs and long term development of our staff's skill set, with apprenticeships forming a key part of the business.

Some of our key projects are low carbon retrofit. Reusing older structures, and making them suitable for the future is something we are passionate about, but not just using any materials. Our systems are designed to be more sustainable throughout their whole lifespan - for instance, we use natural plant fibres for insulation and in our renders, and we avoid the use of biocides. The result is something like our Warmshell Internal system, which is carbon negative from the day it is installed, the opposite of plastic insulations which are resource intensive to use. In fact, each m2 of Warmshell Internal locks up over 4kg of CO2e.
