OVERVIEW
As part of a significant station upgrade, Darlington Railway Station undertook a roof glazing replacement project. This case study highlights the successful installation of patent glazing to enhance the station‘s high-level glazing, using traditional aluminium patent glazing bars with wings. The project encompassed the installation of single-glazed panels made of 6.4mm clear laminated Class B safety glass, focusing on maintaining operational continuity and safety.
