OVERVIEW
Govanhill Baths, an Edwardian public bathhouse located at 99 Calder Street in Govanhill, Glasgow, Scotland, holds the esteemed Category B listing status. This architectural gem, designed by A.B. McDonald, originally served as a multifunctional facility, opening its doors between 1912 and 1917 to provide swimming pools, public baths, and ‘slipper baths’ for individual use. The pivotal decision to select our Heritage
glazing system for the restoration of this Victorian bathhouse came after the project’s architect drew inspiration from our past work at Victoria Baths, Manchester, a project that we had completed in our Heritage system back in 2009.
