This type of timber frame wall tie is right for domestic dwellings and small commercial buildings from five to seven storeys high.
They are suitable for buildings with a maximum height if 18 m. Their suitability should be calculated for each location and the Vista technical team can be consulted for advice.
Maximum differential movement of 65mm.
Manufactured from grade 304 stainless steel.
Non combustible (as defined in the national Building Regulations).
Excellent corrosion resistance and a service life of not less than 60 years.
In situations where thermal losses through ties need to be taken into account, the products will adequately resist thermal transmittance through a wall cavity
Tested as Type B (sound) and as Type 7 (strength) to BS EN 845-1.
Fits cavities from 50–150 mm.
Supplied with 50 x 4 mm stainless steel screws, and in boxes of 250.
