The ProjectHallsville Quarter was a huge project, building a neighbourhood in the heart of Canning Town, in which Bellsure was asked to supply and install a range of cycle storage products. Following a £3.7 billion regeneration project, Canning Town is set to become an exciting place to call home. Using the experience and knowledge of the Bellsure team, we offered a variety of products that suited the specific elements of the brief.As requested by Bouygues UK Ltd, we provided a Phase 1 quote on bespoke cycle shelters with two-tier cycle racks. Once Phase 2 was completed, we then provided an extension to the cycle shelter to create more room for cycle storage. We also supplied CAD designs and .dwg files to build into the clients BIM model.The SolutionThe Bellsure team secured the contract and project managed the supply and install of these products to budget and within an agreed timeframe.We supplied two-tier racks to this project due to their robustness and compatibility. These were space planned strategically to fit as many spaces into the area as possible. We also designed and installed a secure shelter with Syberian Larch as the specified timber for the shelter.Our installers worked alongside the site manager to ensure a smooth snag free handover - complete with an enhanced operations & maintenance manual.

The ProjectHounslow Civic Centre was part of a £410m redevelopment project in the heart of Hounslow which included the new council offices, a library and a cafe for Hounslow council.Bellsure were contracted to provide an external cycle shelter and bin store for the project, maximizing capacity within the availability. The SolutionBellsure supplied our DoubleDek cycle racks and CitiHoop stands - space-planned to maximize capacity and provide a greater return on investment for our client.Our bespoke cycle shelters were the chosen option for this design-led project. A bespoke powder-coated steel frame with a bespoke Euroclad standing seam roof shelter was constructed. We also provided access control to ensure that the staff’s bikes were kept safe while stored on site.

The ProjectA multi-billion regeneration scheme of a underused and derelict brownfield site, previously used as a council depot and recycling center. The aim of the regeneration project was to provide new homes, workspaces and public areas, whilst restoring the historic buildings and supporting the wider regeneration of the Elephant & Castle area. Bellsure were commissioned to provide bespoke cycle shelters which incorporated green roofs and vertical cycle racks. The product was designed to blend in with the surrounding architecture, whilst supporting the ecosystem. The SolutionAfter the Bellsure design team produced a project-specific shelter design that met the specification and aesthetic requirements, we then assisted the team in selecting the appropriate cycle racks.We offered a variety of products that suited the specific elements of the brief, agreeing on the supply of our Verti45 semi-vertical cycle racks, space-planned strategically to fit as many spaces into the area as possible. Our bespoke green roof shelters (completed with a sedum & wildflower roof) were the chosen option for this design-led project.

The ProjectMapleton Crescent is a 27-storey residential tower in South London, containing a mix of apartment types, 60% of which are affordable. Its slender profile, wrapped in subtly changing textures of aqua-green glazed terracotta, immediately attracted national attention, including prestigious RIBA London and National Awards in 2019.A well-established contractor asked us to provide a range of products on a supply-only basis, including a mix of bespoke and standard-range cycle parking, corner protectors, mesh panelling, mailboxes, lockers, benches and planters.The SolutionWe supplied Double Decker Classic cycle racks, strategically planned to fit as many spaces into the area as possible, along with corner protectors to reduce any damage when loading/unloading bicycles.Our post box solution for this project was our recessed option. We sent off for an anomatch colour – a bespoke colour which we purchased and applied at the manufacturing facility to create a unique one-off product, perfectly matched to the architect’s specifications.We also supplied secure lockers for a key fob accessed mail room. And timber benches with steel legs and aluminium planters, powder coated in RAL 8028, were supplied for a resident-only rooftop location.

The ProblemCyclists and staff at London stations were frustrated by poor quality infrastructure for bikes, leading to congestion, theft and damage to cycles.The SolutionThree busy London rail hubs, Waterloo, Marylebone and London Bridge, chose Bellsure ‘Double Decker’ parking to solve the problem.At London Waterloo Station, Bellsure provided 322 new cycle spaces increasing the number of spaces from 212 to 534. We delivered the complete Bellsure package to Network Rail quickly and efficiently, providing the rail giants with an in-depth site proposal and installation of the Double Decker System. The BenefitsThe quality of the Double Decker System has provided commuters and their bikes with an easy to use, secure and protective system that has helped encourage cycling in the capital. No more messy cycle parking areas with channels to support the bike in an upright position No more damaged bikes with our well-spaced parking positions and anti-scratch guards No more fears about security with our high-security brace frame
