Northern’s largest rail depot, at Newton Heath has recently undergone a complete renovation to increase the maintenance capacity for the region. The building has been designed to facilitate the efficient maintenance of the fleet of brand-new trains to improve reliability, and ensure punctuality as demand on the rail network increases.

In 2017, Microgaming, one of the world’s leading suppliers of online gaming software, commissioned a state-of-the-art office space on the site adjacent to their former headquarters on the Isle of Mann.

In 2021, Rolls-Royce opened its new flagship showroom in Mayfair, London, where customers could enjoy an immersive retail experience inspired by Galleria-style shopping. As with many retailers looking to create more of a leisurely experience, the showroom included various zones, including a ‘speakeasy’ bar and consultation areas with product samples.

Linton Fuels is a new mixed-use development comprising two tower blocks with 109 homes and retail space to the local area. Situated close to the River Thames in Wandsworth, South West London, this project is another example of the booming high-rise construction trend currently taking cities across the UK by storm.

The Donkey Sanctuary provides care, compassion and a home to several hundred donkeys at its main site in Devon, which is also an award-winning visitor attraction. Behind the scenes, keeping everything running smoothly takes more than just dedication, it takes reliable power. When their existing UPS installation started showing its age, the sanctuary needed a fresh, dependable solution to ensure their operations stayed online. With their rural location making power supply unpredictable, finding a reliable backup was essential to keeping visitors coming and revenue flowing.

An experienced contractor in rail and transport applications, the appointed M&E contractor, NG Bailey, required cable management systems for the two stations to withstand frequent passenger transfers. Having specified Legrand previously for similar projects, the contractor selected systems from our Cable Management business unit for use throughout the station.
