SSS Industrial Doors Ltd, established in 2006, specialises in the manufacturing of fire-resistant roller shutters. As both the original manufacturer and a trusted trade supplier, our FLAME ARMOUR™ fire-resistant roller shutter range has been tested in accordance with the latest European standards and are permitted for installations into Rigid (Protected Structural Steel & Masonry) and Flexible (Timber Stud Partition) supporting constructions.

SSS Industrial Doors Ltd were the first UK manufacturer to undertake additional furnace testing to EN 1634-1 of a fire-resistant roller shutter specifically installed into a servery hatch application, and to obtain CE Certification for such product type (based upon WF Test Report No. 552862), further demonstrating our commitment to innovation and fire-safety excellence.

In order to ensure full compliance and supply servery hatch fire-resistant roller shutters, our FLAME ARMOUR™ product range was separated into two product variations depending on the end-use application:

FLAME ARMOUR (DOORSET) fire-resistant roller shutters:

Furnace tested to EN 1634-1:2014+A1:2018 with the bottom rail situated at finished floor level
Only applicable for installations as a door/doorset
Manufactured in accordance with Warringtonfire Extended Application Report No. 416673

FLAME ARMOUR+ (SERVERY HATCH) fire-resistant roller shutters:

Furnace tested to EN 1634-1:2014+A1:2018 with bottom rail closing onto a non-combustible countertop
Primarily designed for servery hatch applications/countertop configurations
Manufactured in accordance with Efectis UK/Ireland Ltd Extended Application Report No. EUI-25-000555
