Description

Kinetics KIP Isolators are composed of a high-density matrix of compressed, molded fibreglass, each piece individually coated with a flexible, moisture-impervious membrane. The pumping action of air between the fibres provides viscous damping, reducing motion caused by transient shock and vibration.

KIP isolation pads accommodate a wide range of loading on a single isolator while maintaining a constant natural frequency. The natural frequency of the KIP fibreglass media is controlled by isolator's thickness, rather than by static deflection as is typical with linear steel springs.
