Description
RDS is a rapid deploy, free-standing Hostile Vehicle Mitigation (HVM) fencing system designed to provide temporary vehicle impact protection and perimeter security without foundations or ground pinning.
The system comprises 358 welded mesh fence panels and posts mounted into engineered RDS concrete blocks, allowing full-height deployment from ground level to panel top. Installation and removal can be completed within minutes, minimising site disruption.
RDS is independently crash tested to PAS 68:2010 and IWA 14-1 standards, achieving classifications including:
- V/2500 (N1G)/48/90:4.7/0.0
- V/7500 (N2)/48/90:11.6/0.0
The system provides multi-threat mitigation, combining hostile vehicle resistance with anti-climb welded mesh to deter intrusion.
RDS can incorporate integrated vehicle and pedestrian gates, CCTV, perimeter intrusion detection systems and security toppings. It is suitable for both temporary event overlay and semi-permanent installations where below-ground foundations are not feasible.
