By requiring no deep foundations and being anchored directly to the surface with a standard-profile base plate, the CSG 10630 provides a highly secure, effective solution for hostile vehicle mitigation (HVM) in structurally sensitive environments. The system delivers reliable protection against vehicle impact at 30mph (48km/h) from a Class N1 light van (3500kg), offering peace of mind for sites vulnerable to vehicle-borne threats.

The CSG 10630 Surface Fixed Crash-Rated Bi-Folding Gate is a specialist solution developed by Cova Security Gates in collaboration with world-leading HVM (hostile vehicle mitigation) security experts. This bi-folding gate is engineered to offer robust protection against vehicle-borne threats, specifically designed to withstand impact from a 3,500kg (Class N1) vehicle travelling at 30mph (48km/h).

This product has been specifically designed and engineered based on the test results of our existing 40mph and 50mph Crash Rated Bi-Folding Gates, making the CSG 10630 a design-assessed solution that leverages proven crash-test data to deliver reliable impact resistance.

What sets this gate apart is its surface-fixed design. Unlike conventional crash-rated gates that require deep excavation, the CSG 10630 can be installed directly onto an existing slab or road surface using a standard profile base plate and minimal concrete anchors. This eliminates the need for extensive groundwork, making it ideal for locations where excavation is not possible or practical—such as underground car parks, buildings with limited slab depth, or retrofitting existing infrastructure. The required base slab thickness is only 250mm, making this one of the most versatile crash-rated bi-folding gates available on the market.

Each installation includes a site-specific Design Assessment Report.
