Description

Protek 358 Elite is an improved version of standard prison mesh fencing approved to SR1 security standard by the LPBC (Loss Prevention Certification Board). SR1 security fencing withstands opportunistic attempts at forced entry using basic tools such as cable cutters, screwdrivers, knives and hammers for a period of time. This combined with Protek 358's tight mesh spacing creates a security fence that is very hard to climb, cut through or force entry.

Features and benefits:

Panels have mesh size 12.5 x 76.2 mm with 4 mm wire.
Manufactured to BS 4102 and galvanized to BS EN 10244-2:2001 class D.
Weld strength is 75% of the minimum tensile strength of the wire (tensile range 540-690 N/m2).
Posts are dig-in with size varying with height.
Posts manufactured to BS EN 10210-2:1997 and galvanized to BS EN 10346:2009.
Panels and posts are galvanized before being powder coated to BS EN 13438:2005 with minimum 100 micron coating.
Standard colour is RAL 6005 (Moss Green).
Other RAL colours available as special order including marine grade coating.
Fixings include clamp bar 40 x 5 mm, M8 cup square stainless steel security bolt, and M8 non-removable shear nut.
Post options include cranked posts, face fix, threaded insert posts, and base-plate options available as special order.
