Application

Recommended for use as a demarcation fence where security is not critical. Suitable for ground mounted solar or battery storage applications, and can be stepped to follow uneven ground contours.

Description

The SolarGard Orbit mesh fence system provides a perimeter security fence that is aesthetically pleasing with high through-visibility, helping it to blend into its surroundings.

Features and benefits:

Cost-effective boundary fencing system with an anti-climb deterrent.
Adjoining panels are held together with metal clips that are then pinned into posts using pre-drilled holes.
Mesh size 200 x 50 mm – 5 mm horizontal wire / 4 mm vertical wire (conforms to BS 1722-14:2017).
Panels can be inverted to create flat top option.
Manufactured to BS 4102 and galvanised to BS EN 10244-2:2001 class D.
Weld strength is 75% of the minimum tensile strength of the wire (tensile range 540-690 N/m²).
Supplied with 60 x 60 mm plastic hooked cap.
Post feature 2 extra holes for stepping (unfilled).
Panels & Posts are galvanized before being powder coated to BS EN 13438:2005 (min 100 micron).
Standard colours are RAL 6005 (Moss Green) and RAL 9005 (Black).
Other RAL colours available as special order, including marine grade coating.
Cranked posts (internal and external / top and bottom).
Face fix (for flush against walls).
Base-plated (flush to front, back or centrally) available as special order for installation onto concrete and other hard surfaces.
